Cynthia Cooper is a legendary WNBA Hall of Famer and cornerstone of the four-time champion Houston Comets (1997–2000). As a dominant guard, she won the first two WNBA MVP awards (1997, 1998) and was the Finals MVP for all four championships. She was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.

Tina Thompson is a legendary Hall of Fame forward, best known as the first-ever WNBA draft pick (1997) and a cornerstone of the Houston Comets' dynasty, winning four consecutive championships (1997–2000). A 9-time All-Star and 2-time Olympic gold medalist, she retired in 2013 as the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer. She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.

Sheryl Swoopes is a legendary basketball pioneer and 2016 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, famously known as the first player signed to the WNBA. She led the Houston Comets to four consecutive WNBA championships (1997–2000), won three WNBA MVP awards, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, and three Olympic gold medals.

Dorothy Gaters is a legendary Hall of Fame basketball coach who led Chicago's John Marshall Metropolitan High School for over 45 years, becoming the winningest high school basketball coach in Illinois history. She secured 1,153 wins and 10 state championships, mentoring 17 All-Americans and five WNBA players.
